THE RAPTURE is a very bad sci-fi superhero movie, shot on video back in 2007. The low-fi quality of the filming makes it look really shoddy and dated and not at all like the futuristic, glossy movie the director was hoping for. The story is about a couple of guys with super powers who end up doing very little aside from chatting, and there's a real car crash quality to the whole thing, so it's difficult to look away from the sheer rubbishness of it all. It's artsy-fartsy look is impressive and vagueÂ…Go MATRIX or go B-Movie graphics,But please don't scare your core audience away ( Back cover is more what we want).<br/><br/>This movie is an obvious labor of love, That delivers to viewer not aware of the bells & whistles involved.<br/><br/>Cast was more than adequate, Many of the males have 'That Caesar ' haircut that's belies a Biblical nuance.<br/><br/>Entertaining movie, Extras include making-of featurettes that explain the effects for laypeople, Oh ! that soundtrack.
